RVReunion VenturesFor Owners

For Owners

A long-term home for the business you built.

We buy established service businesses and keep them. If you are thinking about slowing down, stepping back, or handing it to someone who will actually run it, this page tells you what we buy and exactly how a conversation goes.

No brokers, no auction, no pressure. If the timing is wrong or we are not the right buyer, we will say so on the first call rather than string it out.

What We Buy

The kind of business we are looking for.

A fit

  • Established and service-based, with real customer relationships
  • Roughly $1M to $15M in revenue
  • New Jersey and the Northeast preferred
  • An owner thinking about succession, a partnership, or stepping back
  • A reputation worth carrying forward

Not a fit

  • Pre-revenue or early-stage
  • Businesses that only work because of one departing person
  • Broad auctions run purely for the highest number
  • Anything where the plan is to strip it and flip it

How It Goes

Four steps, and you can stop at any of them.

01

A conversation, not a pitch. One call. What you built, what you want to happen to it, and what you want to happen to you. Nothing is written down anywhere and nothing is shared.

02

We look at the real numbers. Under an NDA, the actual books and the actual customer concentration — not a broker packet. This is where most conversations either get serious or end honestly.

03

An offer, or a straight no. If we make one, we explain how we got to it. If we do not, you get the reasons, and they are usually useful to you either way.

04

Close, then we operate it. We are the buyer and the operator. There is no third party to hand it to afterwards, which is also why we are careful about what we take on.

Questions

What owners actually ask.

Do you work with brokers?

We will talk to one if you are already working with one, but we are not looking for auction processes. We would rather have one direct conversation with the person who built the business.

What happens to my people?

They are most of what we are buying. A service business is its crews, its dispatchers, and the person who has been answering the phone for fifteen years. We are buying a working company, not a customer list.

Does the name change?

No. We kept a name from 1975 because half a century of reputation is not something you replace with a logo. What changes is how work gets found and handled, not who the company is.

Do I have to stay?

Up to you. Some owners want a clean exit, some want a year of transition, and some want to keep doing the part of the job they still enjoy and hand off the rest. All three work. We will not pretend a two-year earn-out is a favour to you if it is not.

What if I am not ready for another two years?

Then talk to us now anyway. The things that make a business worth more — clean numbers, demand that does not depend on you, systems that survive a handoff — take about that long to build. Waiting until you are ready is what costs owners money.

Will this get out?

No. These conversations are read by Teddy Wickland and nobody else. Nothing is listed, brokered, or mentioned to anyone, including after a conversation ends.
